David Taylor: (23:43) Like weirdly, one of my goals every day is to just self reflect and ask myself, is everything clear for the people who I’m working with?
David Taylor: (23:30) And, uh, it’s a very interesting kind of place to be because you’re happy that you are, you have the opportunity to be the kind of leader that you wish other people would have been when you were a developer. Meaning just make things clear. Like weirdly, one of my goals every day is to just self reflect and ask myself, is everything clear for the people who I’m working with? And it’s weird how, that’s actually a big question. You know, if every leader just said, is it easy to understand what I’m asking people to do, you know, we’d be in a better place. But it’s actually really hard to make things clear, you know? And it takes a lot of time. And so you find yourself making pitch decks or writing documentation or maybe writing down some process or some guidelines or stuff that makes it clear for 50 people instead of committing code yourself.
