Clojure/west is on as I type, and the videos have already started coming out. I haven’t had a chance to watch many yet, but I enjoyed Michael Drogalis’ talk on Pyroclast. I wish I could be there, perhaps next year there can be a Clojure/south in Australia or NZ?

Recent Developments.

• Last week there was a thread on the clojure-dev mailing list about new predicates returning true, nil, or false, rather than the traditional true/false.
• I wrote an article outlining the pros and cons of that decision today.

Learning.

• Onyx released a sample application showing the Commander pattern in action with Kafka, Onyx, and Datomic.
